INFORMATION WE COLLECT
In order to provide the best customer service available to our customers and those who become our customers, we obtain certain nonpublic information. We may collect this information from you from the following sources:
Information we receive on applications or other forms;
Information from transactions with us or others; and
Information from consumer reporting agencies
We limit the collection and use of this information to only that which is needed to administer our business and to provide superior service to you.
The USA Patriot Act requires the bank to obtain identification documents whenever a new account is opened or owners/signers are added to an existing account. We may need to request to see your identification documents if we do not currently have them on file.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
In certain circumstances, we are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties who perform administrative functions on our behalf. We may, for example, disclose nonpublic personal information to a third party that may assist in processing your accounts or preparing your account statements; to government entities in response to a subpoena, and to credit reporting agencies.
We share customer information with these companies only if they agree to treat it confidentially and only if it is legally permissible to do so. The Bank prohibits these companies from disclosing or using the information other than to carry out the purposes for which we disclosed the information in the ordinary course of business.
We do not disclose any information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies contained herein.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We have never sold and do not plan to sell any information about you to anyone for any reason. We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your information.
Notfiy us of inaccurate information we report to consumer reporting agencies. Please notify us if we report any inaccurate information about your account(s) to a consumer reporting agency.
