    How did Foothills Bank & Trust become established as a financial institution?

    A

    In April 2006 a group of nine Organizers and a staff of three employees began the process of organizing a new community bank in the area. A very successful capital campaign concluded in November 2006 with over $19 million in stock sales. In January 2007 the final application was delivered to the regulators. Foothills Bank & Trust received final approval and began providing banking services to customers in June 2007. The Bank is organized as a state-chartered commercial bank and is a member of the Federal Reserve System.
